The external evaluation of the institution was carried out by external professional evaluators (EPR) of the Department of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the respected Ministry of Higher Education from the November 28, 2022 to the December 7, 2022. By the grace of Almighty God, the result of the evaluation was positive and through the obtaining of (77.56) score the institute got 22nd position among all 142 governmental and private universities and private institutes of higher education in the country.
On behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education, Honorable Professor Dr. Khal Mohammad Ahmadzai, was the head of the jury, Honorable Professor Dr. Seyed Salim Kavian, and Honorable Professor Dr. Mohammad Daud Ahmadzai, were members of the jury, Honorable Professor Noor Agha Nasiri was co-evaluator, and Mr. Hekmatullah Niazai, was the representative of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department in this stage of the quality assurance and accreditation.
Prior to the process of the evaluation, the respected chancellor of (ATIHE), Mr. Khushal Javad, while welcoming the Juries and evaluators, provided a comprehensive presentation about all parts of the institute, which deserved the special attention of the evaluators. Henceforth, the jury, within the framework of its policy, began to evaluate all departments of the institute such as faculties, offices, main and sub-committees, library, computer lab, legal clinic, health center, meeting hall, canteen...) based on (11) main standards and (49) secondary standards of the second stage of quality assurance and accreditation where they received the documents, evidence, and descriptions by the committed, expert, specialist and experienced team of the (ATIHE). Furthermore, be contingent on the meeting agenda, the mentioned team conducted detailed meetings and interviews with the leadership of the organization, vice presidents, heads of faculties, respected teachers, administrative staff, male and female students, and then they visited the facilities and services of the institute.
Finally, the above evaluation report was unanimously accepted and approved by the Department of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the Ministry of Higher Education (Quality Assurance and Accreditation Board) (25) on 24/12/2022 where in that meeting of Al-Taqwa Institute Higher Education(ATIHE) got the promotion by the declaration of obtaining (77.56) grades.

ATIHE is pleased to announce the establishment of the Debate Club as part of the university’s commitment to enhancing its students’ involvement in co-curricular & extra-curricular activities. Building and having debating skills for the students are pretty much important, most importantly in the classrooms where they can improve their ability to learn basic critical thinking and presentation skills in a way that other forms of skills can’t match up with. Classroom debates can train students and people in general about rational thought, community and cultural understanding, customs and manners, set of thoughts, influencing ability, and the main element of public speaking. Debating skills encourage students and people to mature into more confident and bold people and will assist the students to acquire a political identity or personal identity of their own like a debater. Debate students excel in written and oral communication and greatly improve their reading comprehension most importantly, debaters become self-directed learners and continue to learn throughout their lives. Debate teaches students to recognize how others think which improves their ability to cooperate and resolve conflicts. In addition, through debate debaters acquire unique educational benefits as they learn and polish skills far beyond what can be learned in any other setting. It instills in debaters a great sense of confidence and self-esteem. It teaches them the skills of researching, organizing, and presenting information in a convincing manner. The Debate Club at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education is mainly focusing on introducing students to the United Kingdom (UK) parliamentary debating style and helps them build strong argument skills through which they can gain confidence in public speaking. The Club has selected its president, vice president, and four members from both faculties (Faculty of Economics & Faculty of Law and Political Science) through a clear and transparent election process. The president of the club has already initiated making connections with the other debate clubs and debate organizations to work more on the sessions and train the debaters and keep them updated on the British Parliamentary Debate skills and techniques. The Debate Club holds multiple sessions internally and outside the university. These sessions are to help the debaters to interact with other debaters from outside the university and increase their knowledge and self-confidence which is a key skills in debating. The club has been engaged in taking various debating initiatives both with national and international partners to make the club much stronger and become capable of competing at the national and international platforms. So, we call upon all interested students to reach out and join this fascinating journey where they can enjoy taking part in different debating activities throughout their university life at the Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and OM Sterling Global University This Memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and OM Sterling Global University of India was signed online by the Vice Academic Chancellor, Mr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, and the dean of the Faculty of Economics, Abdul Moez Mirzada of Al-Taqwa, and the Vice Academic Chancellor, Dr. Ajay Podar, the dean of the Faculty of Economics and the head of the Foreign Affairs of the mentioned university, According to which both sides will cooperate with each other in the scientific fields. While signing the agreement, Mr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, the Vice Academic Chancellor of the Institute, thanked the officials of OM Sterling Global University and said, “This agreement will be used for the capacity building of lecturers and students, joint scientific research between both sides, and other different academic activities.” Mr. Seerat also said that according to the agreement, lecturers and students of both sides will share their experiences online and physically. Meanwhile, the leadership of OM Sterling Global University of India positively noted the activities of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and assured more cooperation in the academic fields. Forty-two (42) graduating students from the economics faculty received their certificates issued by Peregrine Global Services on August 17, 2022. Additionally, the External Exam results will give us another level of proof that we are providing quality education to our students. For example, if we are asked, “ How do you know the quality of the education you are delivering to your students?” In our response, we can share our global assessment exam results which show that our students’ knowledge was tested at the same level as the average of other regions in the world. We at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education are committed to taking further solid steps working towards better recognition and acceptance of educational programs degrees globally.
